Students can participate in the classroom as well as with their new student card. The student card is valid for the entire year (including summer) and will need to be updated annually one year from the date the card was issued.

The student card is more limited than a regular CPL card, in that students will be able to check out only 5 physical items. Restrictions that apply to regular CPL cardholders 13 and under also apply to the student card (e.g., no museum passes, hotspots or Chromebooks).
